Today I am going to share a basic info related to WhatsApp, where you can send a WhatsApp message to your own WhatsApp account, that seems to be interesting and in fact few of them are not aware of such thing in WhatsApp. To do this you neither need to install any third party applications nor it is necessary to create another account of WhatsApp besides the one you already had. There are different methods.
METHOD-1:
1)First know your existing whatapp number and add it to contacts.
2)Then Go to contacts and scroll down to see the following logo image of whatsapp.
3)Now Click on message +your number. You can send a Whatsapp message to yourself as shown in the below image. But as you saved your contact number, the name with which you have saved is not visible in your Whatsapp, it only displays your WhatsApp number.

Now you can chat with yourself, you can send files,images, videos and many more to yourself. You can also try video calling or making a voice call to your self and have fun.....but you cannot lift up your call, right?. You will just get a notification that you have got a missed voice call or it may be a missed video call.
METHOD-2:
You can also create a group of 2 , as you will be the Group Admin you can remove the other person. Finally, you will be the only one in the group. In this way, you can send all the media or chat with yourself.
To create a WhatsApp group >>Go to Options>>New group>>Group name>> Add anyone >> create a group.
USES OF HAVING YOUR OWN WHATSAPP CHAT IN YOUR WHATSAPP ACCOUNT:
- You can send important documents, files, pdf's etc.. to yourself before your friend deletes it in Whatsapp.
- You can see yourself in online, you can see your own DP and can know how others can see your DP in their Whatsapp.
- You can also have Notes, important dates, To-do list,etc.
- You can have a preview of messages or images before you send it to someone.
In this a way you can chat, send images, files to own Whatsapp account without using other WhatsApp account.
