What does mAh in a mobile battery mean?

The Term mAh mean milli-Ampere per hour.We know that milli-Ampere is the measuring unit of small values of current. It is the measure of energy storage capacity of the battery and is measured in mA per hour(in terms of time)

           The Formula,   Q=I*T
where I stands for current,T stands for Time and Q stands for Charge.
This is nothing but the charging capacity of the battery Q is in terms of current unit mA and time in hours.
If the battery is rated for 1000 mAh,then it  is capable of delivering  1000mA per 1 hour or it delivers 2000 mA per 1/2 hour.....
If your battery is 2000 mAh, then it delivers 2000mAh for 1 hour,So energy capacity increases twice than the first one.
Bigger batteries are labelled in Ah-Ampere hour. 1Ah=1000mA.
Higher capacity batteries last longer than than the lower capacity batteries.Poorly made batteries often get more heated when we charge or turn on mobile data,etc..this reduces the efficiency of the battery.
Phone's battery life is heavily dependent on the way in we use our phone. The more features you run at the same time on your phone, the more current your phone requires and the quicker the battery's capacity drains. This is why using WiFi or running complex games on your phone drains the battery quickly.
These are the basic things that one should know about battery. If I missed any points, please let me know in the comment section.
